Northside Small Business Expo

The City of Chicago has partnered Western Union, Truman College and local chambers of commerce to invite small business owners and entrepreneurs to the North Side Small Business Expo with special keynote speaker, Bill Kurtis. This free expo is set for Saturday, October 25, 2014, from 10 AM to 1 PM at Harry S Truman College, 1145 W Wilson Ave, Chicago IL.

 The expo will have more than 30 exhibitors offering resources on:
  • How to finance a small business
  • How to start the licensing process
  • How to understand and comply with tax laws and other legal requirements
  • Business planning and counseling
  • Where to connect with chambers of commerce
  • Networking opportunities
  • And much, much more! 
The expo will include a workshop by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and YWCA, and a free on-site tax clinic by the Center for Economic Progress.
