Join Commissioner Gainer at the Chicago's 43rd Annual Pride Parade

It is that time of year again! Come join me, State Representative Sara Feigenholtz, and State Representative Ann Williams this Sunday at the 43rd Annual Chicago's 43rd Annual Pride Parade! 

Below are instructions for Sunday's festivities: 

11:00 AM - Parade line up begins on Clark Street between Montrose & Broadway.
  • My volunteers will be wearing white t-shirts with the "Bridget Gainer" blue & red circle logo.
  • The Elected Officials section of the parade is located in the front of the entire parade line-up. I will be with State Representative Feigenholtz and State Representative Williams at spot number 13. 
  • Use Public transportation if possible: Wilson Red-Line or Montrose Brown-Line CTA stations are both walking distance from parade line-up location.
12:00 PM - The parade begins! 

Pride Parade Route

Line Up: On Montrose Avenue, between Clark & Broadway
1) East on Montrose to Broadway 
2) South on Broadway to Halsted 
3) South on Halsted to Belmont
4) East on Belmont to Broadway 
5) South on Broadway to Diversey 
6) East on Diversey to Cannon Drive 
Disband: Cannon Drive (from Diversey to Fullerton) - Walking distance from Peggy Notebaert Nature Musuem 

What You Should Bring:
  • Sunscreen: weather is projected to be in the high 70's. 
  • Water: to stay hydrated.
